The Blasted Landscapes collaboratory ran from May-August 2019 at the Glenridge Quarry Naturalization Site in what is currently known as St. Catharines, Ontario. The pedagogical happenings that took place at the Quarry was the result of collaborative thinking and doing between Cory Jobb, a doctoral student at the University of Western Ontario, and three educators and eight children from a local childcare centre.
Cory Jobb is a Ph.D. candidate in Curriculum Studies with the Faculty of Education at the University of Western Ontario. His project, Blasted Landscapes is a part of the SSHRC-funded Climate Action Childhood Network. He can be contacted at cjobb@uwo.ca
